"This
is the covenant I will
make with the house
of Israel after that
time, declares the Lord.
I will put My law into
their minds and write
it on their hearts.
I will be their God,
and they will be my
people."
(Jeremiah 31:33)
I
WILL WRITE MY WORD UPON
THEIR HEARTS
I
waited to pull out of
the driveway to start
my journey home from
work. As I was finally
able to enter into traffic,
a doubt crept into my
mind. "Did I lock
the front door?".
Rather
than living in doubt,
I turned right at the
next side street and
doubled back to the
office. The door of
course was locked and
I had to remind myself
to tell myself that
I've locked the door.
I need to remember in
my heart that I've taken
the step to secure our
workplace, our live
hood.
Most
people will be surprised
on how God views religion.
"Religion that
God our Father accepts
as pure and faultless
is this: to look after
orphans and widows in
their distress and to
keep oneself from being
polluted by the world".
James 1:27.
God
is interested in a personal,
intimate relationship
with His children. He
wants His Word written
into our hearts to be
a lasting testimony
of His love. When people
say that I am very religious,
I will answer, "No!
I have a personal loving
relationship with God
my Father.
He
is not interested in
ritual or habit, (see
Matthew 6:5-14), or
going through the motions.
Many people participate
in "religious"
acts without any idea
of why, other than the
way they wee brought
up, or everyone else
does it, or they in
some way feel that act
is a way to redemption.
Mark God's Word, Jesus
is the way, truth and
life (see John 14:6).
No one comes to the
Father except through
Him.
Jesus
removes "works"
as a means to salvation,
(see Ephesians 2:8-9).
Grace is God's provision
through His sacrifice,
where we receive what
we do not deserve out
of His unconditional
love for us.
Plant
God's Word in your heart.
Be sure of your destiny
and remove all doubt.
His Word never returns
to Him void, it always
sets out what He purposed
for it. Grab a hold
of His promises to you
and rest assured of
His provisions.
Rejoice
in the Lord Always!
