"Teach
us to number our days
aright, that we may
gain a heart of wisdom.'"
(Psalm 90:12)
A
DATE TO BE NAMED LATER
One
of our vendors offers
a website ordering system
and upon completion
you have to fill in
mandatory information
fields including a purchase
order number, the method
of shipping and the
date you require the
order. When you click
on the required date,
a monthly calendar pops
up with today's date
highlighted.
I personally have to
click on the date and
it always crosses my
mind how my life is
flying by.
Life
seems to blend from
day to day, but seeing
the days pass on by
makes me wonder of a
number of things:
- Days
gone by
- Will
I be here tomorrow
- How
many more hairs turned
grey
- Am
I living in God's
will
- Am
I seeing and perceiving
opportunities around
me to share God's
love
I recently went on a
website to investigate
world poverty and literally
the statistics were
overwhelming. One thing
that stood out, our
modern world, our rich
country of Canada sits
in the category where
the richest 20% of the
world's population accounts
for 3/4 of the world's
income and less than
1% of what is spent
around the world every
year on weapons would
educate every single
child in the world.
I
don't know what this
year will bring. At
the beginning of the
year we all wish for
a year of prosperity
and good health and
blessings, but in reality
people struggle financially,
health fails and our
definition of blessings
are not in line with
God's idea of blessings.
I
pray this year we truly
seek the Lord first
( See Matthew 6:33),
set our focus primarily
on God and other distracting
things will be on the
periphery of our vision,
there but not center
to our desire to know
God and His Son Jesus
Christ, this I pray
in the precious name
of Jesus, Amen.
Rejoice
in the Lord Always!
